Double Duty and Double Victory at the Red Bull Ring with Baron Motorsport

During the International GT Open round at the Red Bull Ring, Imero Engineering supported two Ferrari 296 GT3 entries from Baron Motorsport.

For this weekend, the focus was not on race engineering but on taking on the role of crew chief and lollipop man. Responsibilities included organizing the time schedule, coordinating pit operations, instructing mechanics, and managing spare parts logistics. Running two cars in one of Europe’s most competitive GT series required full concentration, efficiency, and teamwork.

The efforts were rewarded with an outstanding set of results:

The #92 Ferrari claimed victory in Saturday’s race.

On Sunday, the #91 Ferrari started from pole position and went on to secure the win in Race 2.

It was a weekend that perfectly highlighted both the versatility and the adaptability of Imero Engineering. A different role than usual, but one that contributed directly to two wins in two days for Baron Motorsport.

A weekend to remember at the Red Bull Ring — and proof of what strong teamwork and determination can deliver.

More Motorsport shows strong pace in Spa, despite setbacks

In Free Practice 2 at Spa-Francorchamps, the #99 Ligier P325 from More Motorsport, supported by Imero Engineering, set a competitive 2:13.505 with a lot of margin left as the driver improved with a 1,5s delta on the next lap but had to cancel the lap because of red flag. End results finishing 9th in the LMP3 Pro/Am category. With a top speed of 278.6 km/h, equal to the front-runners, the car showed genuine speed and promise.

Unfortunately, qualifying brought a major challenge. A heavy crash left the Ligier with significant damage, forcing the crew into a busy morning of repairs. Thanks to the relentless effort of the team, the car was ready in time to take the start of the afternoon race.

The race itself proved tough, as earlier damage continued to affect performance, and loads of FCY and SC time past with the pro driver in the car. Despite this, the #99 pushed through and gained valuable points towards the Le Mans Cup Pro/Am championship.

The weekend may not have delivered the result the pace suggested, but it underlined the resilience and determination of both More Motorsport and Imero Engineering.

IMERO Engineering joins More Motorsport for remainder of Le Mans Cup season

After a successful collaboration in 2024, where Imero Engineering stepped in mid-season to provide setup advice that helped More Motorsport secure an impressive P3 finish, the partnership is back. This time for the remainder of the 2025 Le Mans Cup season.

Matty Driessen will take on full race engineering duties for the team’s LMP3 program, aiming to build on last year’s momentum and fight for top positions in Europe’s premier prototype championship.

"Last year, we proved that the right setup approach can completely change the game. This season, we have the time to go even further," says Driessen.

Succesfull first outing with 296 GT3

At the 2025 International GT Open round at Hungaroring, car #92 of Baron Motorsport, driven by Edo Bacci and Philipp Baron, delivered a standout performance in the Pro‑Am class thanks to technical support from Imero Engineering.

After their successful endurance campaign with the Ferrari 488 GT3 in Creventic, Imero again teamed up with Baron Motorsport for the 296 GT3. This time, aiming for consistency and podiums in Europe’s toughest GT field.

At Hungaroring, Bacci & Baron delivered a strong result with a class victory in Race 1, showing strategy, pace, and teamwork that underlined Imero’s ability to combine engineering precision with race-winning execution.

This campaign emphasized their strength in guiding a new 296 GT3 entry through its debut season, maximizing performance in every session on a brand-new track.

Chasing podiums, gathering wins in a very big and competitive Westfield cup

Alongside its main focus on GT3 and higher-level motorsport programs, Imero Engineering has also actively engaged in the DNRT Westfield Cup as a valuable side project.

Supporting drivers like Peter Tunissen (#81), Imero and his minor motorsport crew have achieved promising results in this grassroots series known for its large, competitive grids, including intense races at iconic tracks like Zandvoort.

This involvement keeps Imero’s engineering sharp and adaptable, providing a hands-on platform to experiment and develop new approaches while competing at the highest level elsewhere.

Strong season final in Gulf Pro Car

While the Gulf ProCar Series is a regional championship with a relatively small field, Raptor Racing, supported by Imero Engineering, made a big impact in the 2CUP class.

Across the season, the team consistently maximized their package and driver performance. Culminating in 2nd place for Rawad Sarrieddine (186 points) and 3rd for Shawki El Armali (174 points) in the final standings.

These results are a testament to Imero’s focus on fundamentals: delivering speed, reliability, and engineering clarity, even in back-to-basics spec racing like the Porsche Cup.
